Questions
How do I invoice a deposit for a booking?
Make the first invoice for the deposit, then the balance. Or show the deposit as a negative line on the final invoice.
Can I charge for equipment?
Yes. Add a line for PA, lighting or other hire so the client sees what is included.
Should the venue be on the invoice?
It helps. Put the date and venue in the description of the main line.
Do I need to charge VAT?
Only if you are VAT registered.
